George was the lyricist and Ira the composer, Feinstein worked with Ira as a young man helping him cataloguing the brother’s music in 1977. He has written a book The Gershwins and Me about his experience and it captures not only the music but the story behind the music. The chapters revolve around Gershwin sounds and include a CD in the back.
